FAQs

confused?
don’t worry, we’ve got the answers

No, there’s a lot going on outside of our balls including a slide from the ball pit to the dance floor, the main bar and a mezzanine seating area! We really believe in being an amazing cocktail bar where you can dance the night away, and leave all your adult inhibitions behind.

Head to our gallery page to see what you can expect on your visit with us!

We have a ball cleaner called Gobble Muffin who sanitises and cleans 18,000 ball p/hr. Our balls get a lovely clean each and every week we’ve got the test results to prove it! Of course, we’ve also got hand sanitizers scattered around the venue to kill any germs. Our soap dispensers are always stocked and we’ve got brand spanking new air con to keep cool fresh air flowing through the venues so they’re always at the optimum temperature.

You must wear secure, flat shoes in the ball pits (or up to a mid-block heel if you’re feeling daring). You don’t have to be dressed to the nines to be part of the Ballie crowd so we have a smart casual dress code. This includes trendy cycle shorts and the like so long as they’re bar/club appropriate. Trainers are a-okay, just please avoid wearing head to toe casual sportswear and tracksuits.

3. No diving.
4. There’s a hard floor underneath the balls—watch out for changing depths.
5. Hold the handrail on your way in and out of the balls.

Last but not least, we suggest that you keep your belongings safe in the cloakroom as it’s all too easy to lose belongings in those pesky balls. Although we will always try to reunite you with your items, the venue does not take responsibility for any lost or stolen items.

Yes we do, so you can get balls deep without the fuss of having bags or coats. We charge £1 per item, and we’re card only!

It is extremely easy to lose items in our balls so we suggest you keep your belongings safe in the cloakroom. If you’ve lost something in our pits then please email Ballie Edinburgh on [email protected].

Our ball pits are deep cleaned at the start of each week, and one of our team will be in contact within 24 hours working hours. The venue does not take responsibility for any lost or stolen items and unfortunately we can’t help with any loss of dignity either!

On Fridays and Saturdays, your 2 hour ticket slot indicates the time you are able to use the ball pit whilst our Sunday through Thursday ballers are entitled to all night ball pit access. During this time, you can go in and out of the pits as many times as you like!

The 2 hour reserved seating period still applies across the week and indicates your time in the booth with your group. Of course, if you’d like to arrive before your booking time or stay for the whole night then you’re more than welcome to.

We understand that delays happen. We will hold your table for 15 minutes from the start of your ticket time. If you have not arrived after 15 minutes, you will be marked as a ‘no’ show and we reserve the right to reclaim your table.

If you or anyone in your group is pregnant, we would love to have you along however for health and safety reasons must politely ask you to not use the balls. We also ask that all participants must be reasonably fit, in good health and free from any adverse medical condition in order to enjoy the ball pits (they’re harder to move around in than you think). Please be aware there may be flashing lights in our main ball pit.

Please note there is no step free access to our Edinburgh venue.

Contact us on [email protected] with any questions.

All of our ball pit tickets are subject to an unchangeable booking fee at the checkout.

Yes you can! Although we advise booking in advance for the weekends, we do offer free entry on a first-come first-serve basis so you are more than welcome to come by without a ticket.
